Part One of this year’s Grandparents Day celebration, from 2-3 p.m., is posted here.

Part Two of Grandparents Day, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m, is presented by the Northwest African American Museum (NAAM) with Elliott Bay Book Company and AARP Washington. Join them for a conversation with award-winning author Jewell Parker Rhodes as she discusses her newest novel, Paradise Under Fire, that features the important role of grandmothers. She will be in conversation with journalist and author Brandy Colbert.
