The Veterans Day celebration in Auburn, WA draws participants from throughout the Pacific Northwest region. The City of Auburn hosts this annual event. The Auburn Veterans Parade dates back to 1965. It is one of the largest parades of its kind in the country.

Auburn’s Veterans Parade & Observance honors our country’s veterans and active military personnel who have defended freedom around the world. The parade typically boasts over 200 units and nearly 6,000 parade participants, including 25+ marching bands, military vehicles, veterans’ units, honor guards and more.

The parade route travels along Main Street from E Street to A Street NW/SW. The parade is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. See other Auburn Veterans Day events below.

The Veterans Parade will follow all current Public Health directives regarding COVID-19.  All spectators aged 5 and older must wear a mask while attending the parade, regardless of vaccination status. Social distancing is encouraged for parade participants and spectators.

Auburn American Legion Auburn Post #78 Community Breakfast

This component of the Observance is a partnership between the City of Auburn and Auburn American Legion Post #78. The breakfast is $9 per person and includes pancakes, eggs, ham and juice or coffee. Pay at the door or order tickets (PDF) in advance. For questions about the breakfast, please call 253-752-2844.

***NEW! Verification of vaccination and/or negative COVID-19 test is required by Public Health Seattle & King County to enter the breakfast. All customers are also required to adhere to the prescribed indoor mask mandate, wearing a mask/face covering over their nose and mouth while in the facility, unless eating or drinking.

Downtown Auburn Cooperative’s Beer Garden
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
B Street Plaza, adjacent to 144 E Main St.

NEW this year! A partnership between the Downtown Auburn Cooperative and the Auburn VFW Post 1741 will fill the B Street Plaza with a Beer Garden and Poppy Sales. B Street Plaza sits along the parade route, just east of the Grandstand. The Beer Garden will be featuring a beer called ‘Uncommon Valor’ by Rail Hop’n Brewery that was made as a fundraiser for the Auburn VFW. It’s a single malt, single hop, citrus IPA brewed by Vets for Vets. Other beers and a hard seltzer also available. 12 oz pours will be $5.00 each, with 50 cents for every beverage sold being donated to the Auburn VFW Post 1741. Cheers!
