This is the first of five (5) dance classes, for dancers and non-dancers alike, held Wednesdays, May 4–June 1 (3:30–4:15 p.m.). Register in advance. Try out some simple movement exercises that invigorate the body and the imagination. Concepts will borrow from locally and internationally-renowned legend Anne Green Gilbert’s “Brain Dance.”

Classes bring folks together across generations, inviting seniors in our community to connect with youth at Whittier Kids. In-person, outdoor, masked and socially distanced. Vaccinations required for all adult participants.

This series is offered through the Greenwood Senior Center’s Social Connection Project, which is funded by the King County Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy.

For more information or to register, contact Teresa Tam (TeresaT@phinneycenter.org) or Alethea Alexander (AletheaA@phinneycenter.org).
