Like so much of the country, Washington state is amid a growing fentanyl/opioid crisis. Overdose deaths have doubled in just three years. Community collaboration is key to the response. The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Department of Health, Health Care Authority, tribes and community partners are hosting 26 Facing Fentanyl Together resource fairs at the same time on the same day across the state from 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024. In Seattle, fairs are planned at:
- WorkSource Rainier — 2531 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144
- Opportunity Center for Employment & Education — 9600 College Way N, Seattle, WA 98103
Other locations across the state are listed online at Facing Fentanyl Together.
Head to the resource fair closest nearest you to hear from experts, people with lived experience, and community programs to learn and get resources so that you are prepared to respond to your needs or the needs of a loved one.
