Training on Assistive Technology Tools and Creative DIY Solutions to Support Older Adults and People With Disabilities

In this training presented by the Washington Assistive Technology Act Program (WATAP), participants will learn to match functional needs of older adults and people with disabilities to a wide range of assistive technologies and DIY solutions. View demonstrations of variety of assistive devices and explore creative low-cost options to assist with mobility, memory, hearing, vision, communication and more. Participants will come away equipped to pass this info onto other groups.

WATAP has also created a traveling kit that can be checked out after the training so attendees can use it to provide their own trainings to community members and other interested parties.

Space is limited. RSVP here: www.surveymonkey.com/r/WATAP.
