The fire service is adapting to an aging population and huge need for non-emergent medical care and social services. Meet Jon Ehrenfeld and Captain Peter Ubaldi from the Seattle Fire Department, who will discuss frequent 911 users (individual and organizations), SFD’s Vulnerable Adult Program, and its forthcoming Mobile Integrated Health response.
New this year: we’ll produce short video stories (“vlogs”) about each coffee hour that you can share with your friends or anyone else who wants to learn about these events – https://bit.ly/YouTubeAFS
Age Friendly Seattle Coffee Hours bring community elders closer to City officials to explore topics of interest. Presentations often include cutting edge information about healthy aging, legal and planning issues, and more. Coffee and refreshments are served.
