Here’s the lineup for May:

May 1 – The Favourite (2018) R. Amid the hornet’s nest of rivalries and intrigue that define the court of mercurial Queen Anne in 18th-century England, cousins Abigail Masham and Sarah Churchill battle to gain the favor of the monarch and her court. Cast: Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz, Nicholas Hoult, Joe Alwyn, Mark Gatiss. 1h 59m

May 8 – A Star is Born (2018) R. In a role previously played by Janet Gaynor, Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga has big shoes to fill in this third remake of the classic tale about a rising star whose career eclipses that of her famous mentor. Cast: Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, Sam Elliott, Dave Chappelle, Andrew Dice Clay, Eddie Griffin, Bonnie Somerville, Greg Grunberg, Michael Harney, Willam Belli, Rafi Gavron, Rebecca Field, Michael D. Roberts, Gabe Fazio. 2h 16m

May 15 – First Man (2018) PG-13. Director Damien Chazelle and star Ryan Gosling re-team for the riveting story behind the first manned mission to the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong and the decade leading to the historic Apollo 11 flight. A visceral and intimate account told from Armstrong’s perspective, based on the book by James R. Hansen, the film explores the triumphs and the cost—on Armstrong, his family, his colleagues and the nation itself—of one of the most dangerous missions in history. Cast: Ryan Gosling, Claire Foy, Pablo Schreiber, Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, Patrick Fugit, Corey Stoll, Ciarán Hinds, Ethan Embry, Shea Whigham, Jon Bernthal, Brian d’Arcy James, Cory Michael Smith, Lukas Haas, J.D. Evermore. 2h 21m

May 22 – Green Book (2018) PG-13. This fact-based drama follows black jazz pianist Don Shirley as he sets off on a concert tour that takes him through the Deep South in 1962. After he hires an Italian-Amer- ican bouncer as his driver, the two forge a unique bond along the way. Cast: Viggo Mortensen, Mahershala Ali, Linda Cardellini, Don Stark, Sebastian Maniscalco, P.J. Byrne, Brian Stepanek, Iqbal Theba, Tom Virtue, Paul Sloan, Anthony Mangano, Joe Cortese, Johnny Williams, Dimiter Marinov, David Kallaway, Nick Vallelonga, Mike Hat- ton, Craig DiFrancia, Quinn Duffy. 2h 10m

May 29 – Lilies of the Field (1963) NR. Aimless ex-soldier Homer Smith (Sidney Poitier) is on his way to California when his car overheats in the desert. He stops to get some water at an isolated farm and soon finds himself building a chapel for the nuns who live there. The stern mother superior (Lilia Skala) is certain God has sent Smith for just that purpose, and all of Smith’s words to the contrary fall on deaf ears in this Oscar-winning film from director Ralph Nelson. Cast: Sidney Poitier, Lilia Skala, Lisa Mann, Isa Crino, Francesca Jarvis, Pamela Branch, Stanley Adams, Dan Frazer. 1h 35m
