Advocacy Day is your chance for kinship caregivers and others to make your voices heard. Join kinship caregivers from across Washington state to advocate for continued support for relative/kinship caregivers and the children in their care.  Brought to you by the King County Kinship Collaborative, HopeSparks Family Services, Family Education & Support Services, and Renton Area Youth & Family Services (RAYS).

Schedule:
11:30 a.m. Welcome at the Pritchard Building* –Washington Room (downstairs), plus FREE LUNCH
12:00 p.m. Speakers

Be sure to call your elected representatives and make appointments to meet with them prior to, or following, the lunch program. Or invite them to join you at the lunch!

Wear the color BLUE to represent kinship care and demonstrate unity!

*The Pritchard building is located between the House and Senate Office Buildings. It is often referred to as “The Library.” Take the elevator down to the Washington Room.
